Another Chance to Walk with Him...

2026 has already flown by—I can’t believe we are already in March! Life has been full, and I apologize that it has taken me some time to share an update about how ministry has been going.

My ministry, Our Walk With Him (as you may have noticed from my website or business cards), focuses on spiritually directing missionary women who need encouragement and care while serving around the world. This calling comes from my own experience navigating the joys and challenges of cross-cultural ministry.

While I hope to offer spiritual direction with various organizations, I’m especially grateful God has opened the door for me to serve with Azmera, a ministry that supports international missionary women. Through Azmera, I use my seminary training to offer spiritual direction at retreats and connect with women who need encouragement and guidance. I’m also excited to be part of Azmera’s upcoming online initiative, “One-to-One,” which will provide year-round support for missionary women.

And actually recently, I had the joy of reconnecting with a woman from one of the past retreats in Northern Ireland. She is originally from a country in Asia but now serves as a missionary in the UK. As she and her husband raise support to continue their work reaching government leaders and caring for diplomatic families, they are also navigating many personal challenges—moving, their children changing schools, and health concerns. It is a privilege to listen, pray with her, and help her see God’s presence through these difficult seasons.

I’m also excited to share a new opportunity: Azmera has invited me to serve as the spiritual director at an upcoming retreat in Cape Town, South Africa, from April 19–28. At this time, I would be the only spiritual director attending, which means I would be able to provide one-on-one care and guidance to many of the missionary women present.

While I am incredibly excited about this opportunity, the timeline is short. The total cost for the trip is $4,450, and through recent gifts $2,150 has already been provided, leaving $2,300 still needed.
